A bit about us
Established in 2018, by Paul and Laura Local, The Local is a family run, independent bar, specialising in craft beer
We work with mostly independent brewers and businesses to provide you with an excellent selection of craft beers, gins, wines and coffees.
We have a Mexican food menu - all of which is scratch made, using only the best produce from excellent local suppliers and specialist wholesalers
You're guaranteed a warm welcome from our small family team

Craft Beers
With ten draft beers, 6 of which rotate constantly, we have a great range of lagers, pales and IPAs, sours and stouts, with something for everybody
We also have a well-stocked beer fridge, with a great selection of cans and bottles which you can also purchase to take away
Gins
We have an extensive selection of quality dry gins and flavoured gins, from mainly local and independent distillers
We use Fever Tree premium tonics to serve with our gins for the perfect serve
Wine & Cocktails
We work with a local wine merchant to ensure we have a good range of superior quality wines, with reds, roses, whites and sparkling wines
We have a limited range of cocktails available - all made with top quality spirits & proper measures, made fresh - NEVER pre-made!!
